Biography
Based in Manila Philippines, Avy is one of the pioneer members of APEX Management Team. She graduated as Honorable Mention with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and a Master’s Degree in Education Major in Biology. She completed academic units in Doctor of Education and Doctor of Medicine. She is a licensed Professional Teacher and with certification in TESDA Level III Trainers Training on Methodology for Medical Transcription.
She previously worked as Clinical Admin Officer and Market Researcher assigned to Renal Department of Baxter Healthcare Philippines, Faculty/Training and QA Head at MedTranscribe Academy and Institutions, Online Assessment Team Leader at MTC Academy, School Accreditation Coordinator and Head of Science Department and Laboratories at Southville International School and Colleges.
She spearheaded the Redwood Learning Labs curriculum development programs, VA Global Academy training programs, Neuroscience Update Symposium Independent Medical Education Program Grants and ACHC accreditation of US Sleep Medicine Clinic.
She has published research in the Effectiveness of Blended Learning Approach on Student Achievement (Published under SGEN Research Review ISSN 2243-9862), co-authored Science laboratory and HR manuals and participated in research presentation related to Academics, Clinical Studies and Marketing.
